Character Information
*Character Name: Misfire
*Character Canon: Transformers: IDW (More Than Meets the Eye)
*Age: About four million years.
*Race: Cybertronian
*Timeline/Pull Point: End of MTMTE issue 8, after the confontation with the DJD
*History: here, here and here
*Personality: Misfire is canonly one of the biggest failures in Decepticon history. According to the D.J.D., he is one of the six worst 'Cons, and we're not talking about "worst" as in people to avoid. No, I mean "worst" as in he's just bad at being a Decepticon. He's got real issues with staying focused on one thing for a very long period of time and is prone to accidents, having been described as having "ADHD" or some cybertronian form of it. He's also incredibly talkative, he's probably more useful in the way of talking his way out of a situation than he would be in a fight.
While at first he does seem unattached to people in general, a second glance would show he does appear to be somewhat fond of his fellow scavengers for the most part. More than that though, he's even more attached to the idea of surviving. For example, he's not above drinking the inner-energon right out of corpses and taking parts from the dead bodies as needed, living up the title of scavenger. There's obviously a few screws loose with this guy, though as far as common sense goes, he does seem to have enough to have a survival instinct. A canonical look at this is when he does say they should run away from a potentially dangerous or strange situation rather than sticking around to find out what's going on.
Still, he fights with his fellow scavengers when push comes to shove. He does attempt to save his ranking officer despite the... failed attempt, shooting him instead (living up to his name). There is a small sense of loyalty in him in that sense; despite his wry commentary on his teammates, he does go out of his way to try to protect them.
Foremost, he does listen to Krok, while he is the ranking officer of the group, more so, he does look to him for guidance, asking permission, even jokingly about things. Example being when they find the fallen Decepticon warship, he asks Krok if he can keep it. While at first he seems to have a low opinion of his team, he relies on them for what he lacks, and holds no real ill-will for them. Even to the point of being incredibly easy to please, deciding that he likes Fulcrum after exchanging only a sentence with him.
*Powers/Abilities: Misfire currently only has your standard powers of transforming, he can change into his alt-mode, a jet, has no in-built weapons, and is a terrible shot.
*Power Enhancements: For the enhancement, he will gain in-built weaponry, (see: lots and lots of guns), and will be an even worse shot.
*Inventory: NOTHINGGGGGGG.

*First Person Sample: Helloooooooooooooooo? Krok? Spin? Crankcase? Fulcrummmmmm? Anybody?
[A pause.]
Grrrrrrrrrimlock?
Anybody? I'm kind of having a freakout here just a tiny little bit. If anybody hears this who isn't all weird, mind filling me in on where I am?
Also, who in their right mind left all these goodies lying around?
[He appears to be standing in the junk heap...]
Because seriously? Finders keepers, someone was crazy enough to just leave a massive pile of perfectly good. Uh. Stuff everywhere! I mean jeez-
[He picks up an accordion. A robot-sized one.]
Look at whatever this is! Sheesh. Who would throw away a perfectly functional... noisy thingy?
[He tosses it behind his shoulder.]
Anyways, if anyone could maybe tell me what's going on and maybe feed me, I'd be vaguely grateful for a short period of time.
